-- Several WWE writers were let go last week, including Christopher "Big Dick Johnson" DeJoseph. It is said that an additional 2-4 writers were released because management was unhappy with the financial results of the last quarter and they want to bring in "fresh blood with new ideas."

-- The announcers were kept in the dark as to the finish of the main event at the PPV on Sunday night, which helped lead to Matt Striker blowing the call at the end of the match and shouting "John Cena is Free!"

SPOILER ALERT!!(If you haven't seen S-Series or RAW and want to be surprised)
This might explain why RAW this week effin own'd and Miz won the WWE championship! Oh! And why Cena got fired on Sunday! Laughing

Oh come on, even if you was in the dark about the result, it doesnt take a genius to know that randy orton winning means that cena is fired. matt striker did a JR there.

so the wwe was the reason behind cena's firing not the writers?

"This might explain why RAW this week effin own'd and Miz won the WWE championship!" that makes no sense to me whatsoever.

so the miz winning the wwe heavyweight championship is a cock up from the writers? i know the cashing it in wwe / world heavyweight championship match was the longest theres ever been, i mean randy orton put up more of a fight than the other former champions. is this to do with the writers too?

    I dunno.
The Nexus/John Cena storyline is, bar none, the greatest storyline I've ever had the pleasure of watching. The promo airing before the Barret/Orton feud was the single greatest promo to come from WWE production since the Stone Cold/Rock promo at Wrestlemania 17.

It's had it's flaws, but you know what? When have you heard a crowd get that behind a storyline? To chant "never give up"; to stand in shock after Cena was forced to join Nexus at HiaC and then again going completely silent when Randy won at SS. Watch the crowd again when Cena counts the third count and the bell rings. They stood there; they never moved, never chanted. They just stood there, staring in disbelief.

THAT is why we're fans of wrestling. THAT is what makes me love this industry. THAT was frigging awesome.
    Bravo, WWE, bravo.
And, of course, thank you, Cena...

Greatest? I'm not too sure yet.. They have a chance to ruin it. For some reason they may suddenly hire Vince Russo. Lmaox!
But this has been the first time I felt invested in a storyline since The Kofi-Orton feud.

You're so right about the crowd at the end of the Orton-Barret match.. That was just eerie.. Everybody on their feet.. Just dumbfounded. Hell, I was shocked! I just hope that whatever the do with John Cena coming back is good. And not a TNA plot hole. XD

Oh and.. My original post..What I said after "SPOILER ALERT" was pretty much said in a jokingly way. I was trying to convey the idea that John Cena is on the polar opposite end of winning every match he's in. He's "fired."
